This is what I chose to wear yesterday. In this photo, I am wearing an American Eagle jean jacket, my “Get Schwifty” hoody, black joggers, white Nike socks, and my Nike Air Huaraches. I am also wearing my Citizen Eco-drive watch that I got for my graduation. Under my hoody, I am wearing a camouflage green “Do You Even” gym brand shirt.
The reason I chose to wear this is primarily because of the colors and the fit of the outfit. Fit is a huge thing for me, but plays less of a part for my outfits in the winter, mainly because I am more concerned with staying warm. The colors are normally my first consideration when choosing an outfit. I always consider what colors will compliment other aspects of the outfit. Normally, the less colors I am wearing, the less thought I put into my outfit. There are not that many different colors in this outfit, but I really like how the jean jacket compliments the grey hoody, as well as how the contrast between the black joggers and the white shoes brings more attention to the shoes. I make an extra effort to keep these shoes white and do not tend to wear them as much because of that.
Another aspect that I always consider about an outfit, especially when choosing what to wear throughout the day and in class, is how comfortable it is. My “Get Schwifty” hoodie is very comfortable and, when paired with the jean jacket, also very warm, which was crucial for yesterday. I also just love Rick and Morty so I am always happy to rep the show. The joggers fit loosely on my legs but taper around my ankles, which is also good for warmth. I also love the fit and comfortablity of joggers in general.
